Editorial Policy

We separate peer reviewed research from preprints, and both from press releases, and we say which one we are describing. Findings are attributed to the people or organisations that produced them, and we report the caveats the authors themselves stated rather than only the headline result.

We do not present contested science as settled, we do not run diet or treatment advocacy, and we do not publish betting odds, tips or predictions of any kind.
