Hiasynth raises angel funding for synthetic
AI startup Hiasynth raised an angel round led by Further Than Capital to launch a queryable synthetic model of Europe's population for AI market analysis.

AI startup Hiasynth has raised an angel funding round. The investment was led by venture capital firm Further Than Capital.
Hiasynth has built a synthetic representation of Europe's population at a 1:1 scale. It is designed to be queried directly by artificial intelligence systems. The company states this allows any business to analyze any consumer market across Europe.
The dataset contains half a billion synthetic personas spanning 37 countries. Each persona is defined by more than 600 attributes that co-vary as they do in real populations. These attributes include income, housing, consumption habits, and personal values.
The system's structure and launch
Founder Emma Agering explained the foundational logic. Where and how you live define your lifestyle as much as who you are as an individual, she said. The company mapped 3.7 million micro-zones, built households, and placed every synthetic persona inside one. Agering claims this spatial grounding is what makes the simulated consumption patterns realistic.
The platform will launch in September 2026 at the Bits & Pretzels event in Munich, Germany. It will be made available through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This open standard enables AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to query external tools and data directly.
The market intelligence proposition
Hiasynth argues that Europe's fragmented nature has traditionally made continent-wide market research expensive and complex. Each country has distinct languages, consumption patterns, and research requirements. Agering claims this has led many European companies to expand to the United States before entering a neighboring European country.
Market intelligence has always been a luxury service, priced for enterprise, Agering stated. That price is about to collapse. Her thesis is that when Europe is represented as a single system instead of 37 separate research projects, even a ten-person company can analyze a continental market as easily as its local one.
Investor rationale and funding trends
The angel round was led by Further Than Capital and included three additional angel investors. Further Than Capital's portfolio includes early investments in companies like Lovable and Blackwall. This capital is intended to fund Hiasynth's launch and product development ahead of a planned seed funding round.
Per Björklund of Further Than Capital commented on the firm's investment strategy. We back founders before ideas, and Emma has built startups before, he said. When the product ships across Europe on day one, we want to be in from the start.
Stefan Lindeberg of Further Than Capital, who is also a co-founder of Creandum, highlighted the dataset's role in improving AI reasoning. He argued that large language models are adept at producing plausible answers about any market but poor at knowing if those answers are true. Hiasynth replaces the guess with a population the AI can actually reason over, Lindeberg said. That is the difference between an AI that sounds convincing and one you can act on.
